Unfortunately, there is no Spotlight for this month. The Undi staff hasn't come across a spotlight-worthy story as of late, and we never just shove a story under the Spotlight for the sake of having one. So instead of making a mediocre story a Spotlight, we'd rather not have one.

With that said, we still have many stories to go through - after all, we carefully review every story recommended to us. If you know of a story that meets our guidelines, and you think it deserves a feature on this site, please send it our way via the submit page :)

Also, it's worth noting that Internet Explorer users may have difficulty navigating with our new menu bar. A solution to this problem should come about by our next layout, but in the meantime I wholeheartedly suggest using Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome - anything but IE.




Finally, time for a new Highlight :)

This one is a bit different from the usual stuff we feature here at Undi. For one thing, it's rated M for good reason. There's violence, language, sex, the works. But if you don't mind mature content and like your romance with a suspenseful spin, then we highly recommend Deep in the Shadows by ilmiopassato. It's also complete, so go read your heart out! <3




Our newest Highlight was nominated for the Punk'd award last round at SKoW. With that said, Effortless by BrickHyde does not have a predictable ending. I'm going to leave it at that. To find out more, you best click on that story and give it a read :)




After a two month drought, we have a Spotlight that's sure to make up for the long wait and make you... Happy! The Unhappiness Factor by UnhappyPeople is a humorous, complete story set in a dystopian future full of Happiness. Or at least, what the new world thinks is Happiness. A group of ten people happen to disagree and subsequently, are thrown into a therapeutic reality TV show to learn how to be happy. If satire and exaggerated Christianity doesn't appeal to you, I'd suggest sitting this one out. If not, check The Unhappiness Factor out!

You may have noticed our new layout - which, by the blast of bright green, I'd be surprised if you didn't. It's Springy and vibrant, a stark contrast to the winter season many of us are currently in. Just don't stare at this layout in the dark. Your eyes might burn in their sockets.

Also, our links have been moved to the top of the page. Some items - like the Music Lounge and UM...Say What? are still under construction, so you won't find anything there just yet. But I'll give a heads-up in the update when we get the ball rolling.

In podcast news, our next episode should be ready by our next Highlight. Cbox Junior is growing right before our eyes, new staff is being added - lots of changes are happening around here, and there's much more to come! Happy reading, everyone ;)

Our staff member, MaGa, is infamous for touting tea as a powerful elixir of sorts. Maybe she was on to something, because in The Healing Properties of Tea by Emakoke, a young girl learns just how life-changing tea can be. Especially when it's given to you by an attractive stranger. So for all you lovers of love out there, Happy Valentine's Day.
